Rachel Kolisi Goes Back To Hospital

Sometimes the smallest of things can make someone’s day. Rachel Kolisi, wife to Springbok captain Siya Kolisi shared a moment she had with a hospitalised Covid patient. Rachel was in the hospital because Siya’s sister Liphelo was not feeling well and had to have an operation. She posted a picture of Liphelo in a hospital bed and then narrated the encounter, “We made it through a week and again so grateful for health. While Liphelo was in for her op I was moved from the waiting area because there was a Covid patient being moved into ICU, I locked eyes with him and gave him a thumbs up and he smiled back. Let’s do what we can to keep safe and keep others safe.” She added that she was so ready for the vaccine roll out.
Many people wished Liphelo a speedy recovery and commended Rachel for her small kind gesture which must have brightened the Covid patient’s day. With the new lockdown level we have just entered so many people feel hopeless so don’t forget to give your thumbs up or a smile to someone who needs it.
