DJ Lerato Kganyago gave back to the community by doing a successful blanket drive for the homeless. She did so through her company flutter by LKG. Lerato showed a video of how the drive went on Instagram. The homeless stood in a line as Lerato and TV and radio host Rhee wrapped a blanket around each and every one of them. They say the joy of giving is in the happiness one sees in the recipient of their kindness. Well Lerato must be filled with joy because the people who benefitted from the blanket drive could be seen dancing, skipping and wearing the biggest smiles.
“Giving warmth to those who need it most. Especially now as the temperature keeps dropping. Thank you Aranda textile mills for always supporting the Flutter by LKG blanket drive. Rhee thank you for being part of this. I love you always,” the Metro FM presenter said captioning the video. This is not the only charity work LKG is involved in the End Period Poverty campaign. The DJ who has a heart of gold donates pads made by her company to girls who would otherwise go without.
