King Monanda pays R500 for maintenance
Musician King Monada’s baby mama has taken him to court because he insists on paying R500 for maintenance. The baby mama whose name is Masia told Sunday World that she had gotten pregnant with his baby when they were both at secondary school 11 years ago. The two’s relationship ended in 2013 for reasons she did not disclose besides saying family things.
When she was a student she was getting funds from NSFAS funds so the R500 though a paltry amount was okay. But she graduated last year from the Tshwane University of Technology and is unemployed so she has only the R500 to support feed her child. Masia who lives in clear view of King Monada’s recently finished mansion was told by the Idibala hitmaker that he cannot afford to give her R1 200 a month. So she took him to court where he was told to bring his personal and business bank statements after he insisted he can only pay R500. Instead the singer came with a team of lawyers who managed to convince the court that the singer who has multiple luxury cars like 2 mercs and a BMW as well as received millions through gigs and royalties can only pay R500 a month.
