Actress Zola Nombona granted an interview to TshisaLive in which she talked about everything Zola.
First she talked about the role she plays in Isono which she said was written in the stars for her. In the series she portrays Zoleka head of production of sports and lover to a footballer. On her role she said, “Their challenge is the professional world versus their relationship. The future of the story is really about the dynamics between an employee who becomes your partner.” Zola also starred in a short film recently where she was an LGBTQI+ woman called Ayanda facing challenges because of her sexuality. “From an artists’ point of view, I hope Ayanda has touched a lot of people’s lives, and people see themselves in her and not just specifically the LGBTQI+ community but any person who feels like whether sexually or economically we all get trapped in something. It is a happy story, it’s a kind of story we hardly see these days within our reality,” the actress said.
Ayanda also left shop talk and shared her experience as a mother. “When a baby comes they don’t come and change your life in a sense that who you are completely changes but they add to what you are. My son is an addition to my life, a beautiful one at that,” Ayanda added.
