Lesego Marakalla says goodbye to Skeem Saam
If you are a loyal viewer of the show you have known this lady as Rachel Kununtu for nearly a decade on Skeem Saam. Her real name is Lesego Marakalla and the actress has decided it is time to leave the cast of SABC1 soapie, Skeem Saam.
Skeem Saam released a statement in which they shared that the actress was leaving the show in order to pursue learning. Apparently she will be attending school full-time. The actress though sad to leave the show that has been a part of her life for 8 years is not sure if she will ever return to acting. She also expressed her gratitude over the friendships she has made through the show.
“I will miss my Skeem Saam family dearly. I have been with the show for 8 years and I have created some good friendships and memories,” Lesego said.
The character she plays Rachel aka Letjobana aka Marothi’s dynamite has not been featuring in the show for some weeks now, she has kept viewers avidly interested in her every move and trying to guess he next move. The statement released did not tell viewers how her character will leave the show, so at least fans have something to look forward to and speculate on how she might leave the show. Her final episode of the show is on Friday, 19th of June. Let’s hope she will leave the show with a bang.
