Twitter out for MamMkhize’s blood

Businesswoman and reality show star Shauwn Mkhize is once again the talk of twitter streets. This time it is because of her blatant disregard of level 3 lockdown regulations. Tweeps aint playing this time, they want the Minister of police Bheki Cele to arrest her.

Shauwn aka MamMkhize lives her life in the public eye. Besides the reality show she posts pictures and videos of herself showing snippets of her luxurious life. She is usually beloved but it does not take much for a crowd to turn on you. The reason why Twitter wants her blood is because she has been breaking lockdown regulations and posting about it.

When we were in Level 4 she and Somizi got together showcasing their collective LV collection of bags. This was before visits were allowed and actually had a photoshoot of it, cooked and had lunch together with no mask in sight. Now tweeps complained about it but this recent post really got them worked up. MamMkhize and her friends had a prayer meeting which are allowed in level 3 but they did not abide by any of the other regulations. They did not practice any social distancing. They were sitting close to each other, hugging and kissing. Not only that but some were not wearing their masks properly including MamMkhize whose mask was just hanging off one ear. She then broadcasted the session Live on Instagram as well as videos of it on her Insta stories.

Now celebrities are not the only ones breaking these rules. Many people had social gatherings like parties and posted about them but people expect better from celebrities because of the influence they have. If they break these regulations the least they could do is not post about them. Recently Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams who is the Minister of Communications,, Telecommunications and Postal Services when was fined for breaking regulations. This was to show that politicians are not above the law. Now people want to see if celebrities are above the law. Will any action be taken against MamMkhize or not.
