Kelly Khumalo’s daughter not Meyiwa’s

Singer Kelly Khumalo dropped jaws and people haven’t been able to get over their shock after she announced that her daughter was not a Meyiwa and would never be.

The singer has a 6 year old daughter whose father has always been thought to be Senzo Meyiwa, the late Orlando Pirates soccer player. She said this because when Senzo impregnated Kelly he did not pay damages to her family as per our African culture. In her words, “The child isn’t a Meyiwa, she’s Khumalo. And I don’t see the necessity of sitting down and talking with the Meyiwa’s. We aren’t family and will never be.”

In her interview on Friday with Irvin Sihlope’s Ezemidlalo sports show in an Ukhozi FM claimed the Meyiwa’s had portrayed a bad picture of her to the world but she had forgiven them and left them in God’s hands. “They never loved me. If you search Google, you’ll see they said a lot of things about me,” she said. She added that, “How is it my fault? Is it my fault because Senzo loved me? I don’t think the thought of it being my fault was shot comes from South Africa. It think the people who played a role in driving South Africa to hate me is Senzo’s family.  They subjected me to a lot of hate and drove South Africa to hate me as well.”

Whenever her daughter asks about her daddy she says I tell her that he is in heaven and will one day know about her. She praised Senzo saying he was a hands-on dad and she wished he was around to watch his daughter grow. Kelly hit back on the Meyiwa’s saying they were the reason his killer had not yet been caught as they focused on her instead of finding the real killer. Sfiso Meyiwa, who is Senzo’s uncle said the family did not hate her but they was some misunderstanding between them. “We’re willing to sit down with her and sort things out if she doesn’t mind.”

With the way Kelly was speaking I doubt that meeting is going to be happening that any time soon. Though it would be good for her daughter to know both sides of her family. What do you think Tea Squad?

I find this matter to be really something which

Weed birthday: Last year, during class, my algebra teacher let us listen to music while we did our classwork and whatnot. So, I was just jamming, being super confused on this one problem and I look up from my paper to ask my friend how to do it and EVERYONE is intensely looking back and forth between me and another girl with their fingers on their noses. As you can imagine, I was super confused. So, naturally, I also put my finger on my nose. Everybody yelled “OHHHHHHHHHH” and turns out, it was a “nose goes” thing and the other girl had to ask the teacher if she’d ever smoked weed on her birthday because it was 4/20.
