Singer Amanda Black refused to be dragged in a non-existent drama with Zahara when tweeps read more into her comments and blew them out of proportion. She was quick to correct them and call it all harmless fun.
It all started when Amanda hinted that she was scared of Zahara’s singing talent. She tweeted, “Yhuuu hai ndamoyika”. Tweeps were quick to agree with her and that Zahara would bury her. This led the star into changing her mind and saying she can take Zahara on. “Actually I changed my mind. Yithi Makaze,” she posted. Fans teased her that Zahara just had to drop Loliwe and it will be all over. Another tweep tagged Gemini Major to organize Amanda Black versus Zahara and Amanda said she was ready. Some tweeps took it way too seriously and told the singer to drop the battle because she was being disrespectful and that they were gifted differently. Amanda decided to correct them then and there and responded, “Haibo relax its all in good fun. I love @ZaharaSA always have,” and ended with a heart emoji. When tweeps kept roasting her about her challenging Zahara she again posted that it was supposed to be a joke. She tweeted, “this was supposed to be harmless fun, but of course amagqwirha athatha iadvantage. Please leave me and Zahara alone now thanks iLockdown iyani expoza.”
A tweep called Wandie then told her she shouldn’t dignify the accusations with a reply as twitter is filled with toxic people who just want to create drama. To which she replied, “Sometimes bayafuna ubekwa in their respective bins, there’s no beef here and they tryna create it.” The star was bent on clearing the air and leaving no doubt that there were no hard feelings between her and Zahara. She wasn’t taking any chances.
So what do you think Tea Squad? Was Amanda disrespectful or were tweeps trying to make something out of nothing.
